Zati Farahiyah obtained her Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Mara University of Technology (UiTM) and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in February 2011. She joined the firm initially as a pupil and was appointed as an associate in the Litigation Division after her admission.

Some of her experiences include:

• Conducted trials and other court proceedings in matters involving civil actions by financial institutions and companies as well as individuals

• Assisted litigation partners in court proceedings involving industrial law, defamation, contract law, trust and administrative law

• Prepared various documents for Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) including trust deed, licensing agreement, secondment agreement and consultancy agreements

• Assisted a partner in the preparation of a university statute for the establishment of “Yayasan Putra Business School” by the Graduate School of Management of UPM
