Ahmad Zaki Ismail graduated LLB (Hons.) from the International Islamic University, Malaysia (IIUM) and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur in September 1997. He has practiced with various law firms and was practicing as a sole proprietor prior to joining NSI as a Partner in December 2018.
His areas of practice include capital markets and corporate and commercial law. Since joining NSI, he has been assisting the larger corporate clients of NSI who comprise government linked and multi-national companies. He has drafted prospectuses for IPOs and circulars for shareholders for various transactions involving listed companies and is familiar with the requisite legal due diligence exercises including those conducted for purposes mergers and acquisitions. He is also used to preparing, attending negotiations and finalising joint venture, shareholders’, licensing and other agreements which usually arise in the ordinary course of conducting business in Malaysia.
